Ideal was the first to introduce auto dosing equipment into British commercial laundry.

Training
We can train designated staff in laundry technology and effective equipment maintenance – providing bespoke training courses and interactive test manuals for washer-extractors and tunnel washers. Training also includes health and safety, and our innovative troubleshooting program, Take Five: Five 5 minute daily checks for healthy laundering.
POWDER DOSING TECHNOLOGY
Ideal Powder Dosing Unit
The optimum solution for quality & economy in large commercial or high production laundries.
- A reliable unit that automatically doses powder from 2-8 washing machines of any age, design and size – including CTWs. Robust construction means unit is good for millions of operations, with significantly reduced service and maintenance demand.
- Designed and built in Britain by the Ideal engineering team. Fully customisable and easily integrated with Ideal auxiliary liquid dosing pumps. Small machine footprint requires less than 0.25m 2.
- Enables large commercial laundries to simplify product range to a single concentrated, fully-built powder, replacing need for multiple liquid additions. Independent tests indicate first class results achievable at lowest cost.
- Fewer products for simplicity and better stock control. Drastically reduces wash costs per kg of linen with detergent or starch. Minimised packaging waste and increased compatibility.
- PLC driven control panel can be run in relay mode or fully programmable for non intelligent machines. User friendly with intuitive touchscreen controls. Load count and powder consumption record available for management information.
- Hopper holds 2 x 25kg bags of powder. Air operated valves to machine for quick operation between each dose. Low level alarm when powder needs replenishing.
LIQUID DOSING TECHNOLOGY
High-flow laundry dosing system (35kg washing machine and above capacity)
Flexible system can be mixed with OPL dosing pumps to suit.
- Suitable for washing machines 35kg and above.
- Can dose from 1 to 10 laundry products.
- Compatible with both intelligent and non-intelligent machines. Can be used in relay mode or with formula select programmer.
- Classifications named on remote screen at washing machine (when formula select used).
- Load count and pump run times available for reporting.
- Approved to all regulatory standards for factory equipment.
LIQUID DOSING TECHNOLOGY
Low Flow OPL Dosing System (up to 35kg)
Space saving double pump head for machines up to 35kg
- Easy to install and maintain thanks to the quick tube-change configuration.
- Can dose from 1 to 10 laundry products.
- Suitable for both intelligent and non-intelligent washing machines up to 35kg. Can be used in relay mode or with formula select programmer.
- Available in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 pump versions, with the option to upgrade to a unit with plug-and-play pump module.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Diaphragm Pump (High-Flow only)
Delivers excellent flow rate consistency, even with highly viscous products such as liquid starch and one shot laundry detergent. A versatile dosing system with a reduced servicing demand.
Flush Manifold
Uses water pressure to consistently pump laundry products over a long distance, reducing the number of tubes traversing washroom area. Compatible with both high and low flow pump units.
Low Level Alarm
Connected to a dosing unit, or with its own power supply a low level alarm will monitor the level of up to 10 products. It will trigger a buzzer and a flashing light to alert laundry staff if a product is about to run out.
Suction Lance
The suction lance allows you to distribute up to three dosing units from one drum. When connected to the alarm system it will sound a buzzer when the product reaches a critically low level.
